Hopefully they'll make some improvements to it while they're restoring everything. I only use it for Netflix, but I've always had trouble getting randomly signed out of the network.

I couldn't stand the incredibly long update load time...then it making me re-enter my password. So I switched my Neflix over to my 360 where updates only take a few seconds.

The joke on-line is that it's Skynet's fault.

You can still get into Netflix; just be persistent. After a couple failed PSN logins, it will bounce you into Netflix anyway.

Ouch, word is now that all your personal information could have been compromised. This is a HUGE dose of fail for Sony.

Yeah, I just heard that's why they've been down all week. Great, I hope my credit card is ok.

What's really bad is that Sony didn't even tell us about the security breach until a WEEK after they found out. The hackers got names, home addresses, email addresses, birthdates, passwords, credit card numbers, etc. and we are just finding out now. Not good at all. I swear, I'm giving false information when I sign up for stuff like this in the future.

Got the PS3 years ago for the blu-ray player, got a 360 when a friend said I could keep his redringed one if I could fix it (which I did).

Basically have both through dumb luck and happenstance.

Lucky for me I guess, my PS3 is only used as a Bluray player...so they have no credit card info on me.

I can't believe I have had a playstation for so many years, and just last week I put my credit card details in to get Angry Birds, which really sucks on PS3.

I don't think much of Sony's apology letter, considering the extent of the damage that has happened.

i cannot even get PSN any more, because I refuse to let sony spy on me with their latest firmware. Their new firmware actually tracks what you do, watch and play (even movies) and sells that info, as well as blocks your ps3 from playing anything Sony does not want you to play on their system, like movie backups, and home videos.
