I went to Dicks Sporting goods to look around.

I found a 8 inch action figure, named Hunter Dan.
He looks pretty good, and has a ton of accessories.

Check him out at hunterdan.com

Nothing like watching the flocks of wild D*cks Sporing before they fly north for the winter.

Hunter Dan figures have been out for at least three years.

Longer actually. Checking archive.org, it looks like these have been out since Fall of 2000. Pretty doofy looking headsculpts, but some decent accessories.

That's why I said, "at least three years." I have no time sense, so I ran a search on the old forum to find the oldest result.

First time I ever say them. Also have to say its the first time I ever went shopped a Dick's Sporting goods too.

I agree the heads look goofy, but the clothes and accessories look good. The Compound bow would look nice on Green Arrow.

The body is not body either. I know others may not agree, but I like it. I have used it for stuff Like a mego Franky. It beefed him up nicely too. You just have to change out the forearms. The body does not look good in a tight suit though.

Sorta reminds me of Marx's Buck Hunter and Safari Adventure Kim, but w/ better accessories.

If ya don't mind me asking, what Department did you find Hunter Dan in? Last Christmas I spent almost an hour looking for him. The clerks looked at me like I was nuts when I asked about it:googly:

He was sitting in the middle display of the store.. If you want one I can get one for you. He was $19.99 plus tax.

His female counterpart Hunter Ann is a nice figure, the head is way to big but the body is nice. She also comes with some nice accessories.
