1955 Marx Capt Gallant of the Foreign Legion playset

Going wayyy back here.. anyone have any knowledge they can share regarding this playset? I'm looking for basic stuff like how sought after it is, and relative market price. From what I'm reading, this is one of the original Marx holy grails..

I'm not sure what it goes for these days, but it is indeed one of the more sought after sets. If its complete, you have a goldmine there!

Very sought after the fort pieces are spiecific to the set
in the box in 1000 to5,000 depending on complentess & conditision
Arabs can run 20 t0 30 ea depending on color
capt gallant & cuffy in sliver 75

Thanks for the tips.. I shoulda mentioned that pic was just for reference - I have an opportunity to buy a boxed set (not online), but I haven't even inspected it yet. Just wanted to get a better grip on things first..

see if i 75 % of the item to include the Gallant and cuffy
and get for a really good price i would buy it
