cyberman head swap advice

i recently got a mego-dens fisher dr who cyberman - the bodys pretty beat up so i want to do a head swap with a spare ten inch scale mego body- the head of the cyberman isnt the usual mego rubber- its more of a blown vinyl and the lug that fits into the body isnt as substantial- anyway i ripped the head off to clean it but im a bit worried about damaging it if i keep having to wrench it off the body like this- and what about stuffing it back into the torso when im done how do i minimise the risk of damage to the head.

second the head of the cyberman was sticky and i wonder if this is common and if theres anything i can do- i gave it a good scrub with a toothbrush and cleaned it with soap its seems ok but i will see if the stickiness comes back.

anyone know where i can get spares for this rare figure?
