This is my original character THE ENGINE. Sort of a steampunk avenger-type. Battling evil robots in a turn of the century metropolis.

He wields a grapple gun and a electrically powered glove that allows him to smash robots with "bolt punches" His suit is a snake-skin weave that makes him tougher and insulates him.

I was inspired by Thunderbolt (As I often am) to use some different textured materials. The head is a mold/cast of a power ranger head. The paints looked okay, but when I took the pictures I thought the looked pretty rough. Been awhile since I painted eyes. I'm rusty.

Man, always blaming me. :) Love it, great to see your contraption building skills infiltrate the figures. I sorta have something like that planned for Iron Fist.

Any chance of a recipe for that grappler gun?

I like that!

Oh yeah, the grappler! The gun end is a pistol from that TRU masked navy SEAL guy, the hook on the other end is from that same toy. The middle part is from an unfinished wood "boy", I think, (I can find one for you if you want) paint the whole thing black a little chain so he doesn't drop it and bickety-bam...grapple gun.

I done been BUMPED!

Ya'know, I held onto that vest from a 12 inch VanHelsing FOREVER and when I got all the stuff together to do the figure finally, my three-year-old disappeared under the table with the vest and my scissors and cut it into LITTLE TINY PIECES. I sewed them back together begrudgingly and there you go...
