Help Identifying An Odd Helmet

My wife stopped by a yard sale this morning and bought me an original GI Joe Adventure Team Air Adventurer for 25 cents. Strangely, he was wearing an odd silver helmet. I can't figure out what it goes to, so I'm asking you, my fellow Mego Museum members, for help.



The only markings inside are the numbers 6330-046. It's obviously for a 12" action figure, as GI Joe was wearing it. I really don't think it goes to GI Joe, but then what do I know? I'm no expert. Any help is appreciated.

Flash Gordon/Buck Rogers/Tom Corbett - ish for sure... I have a similar helmet, though mine is gold and looks to be more 'rubbery', and also is in 8" scale.

That's it! I was searching for Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Captain Action, anything I could think of. I never even thought of Captain Lazer.
