Hey there, folks. What kind of rubberband or other elastic material do you use to replace the band on a Fist Fighter fig? Is there a particular size or width or whatnot you can impart to me so I can fix some super wobbly legs?
Thanks!
Bryan

I was hoping someone would have an answer for this. I have a FF Robin that is in pretty good shape, except for the wobbly legs.

Yes, I keep checking back, but only other Wobblies have joined together full force!

Once you remove the old band I think you may be surprised how small it is. Something like a section of surgical rubber tube about 10mm diameter to form an `O` ring will probably do the job.
I have removed original bands before and refitted them but the trick is refitting it. You need to hook it from the outside of the leg and pull it through the hole. A paperclip is good - just bend a small hook on the end and pull it through - now use a small screwdriver or similar and put it through the exposed end of the band and remove the paperclip - refit the plastic leg hook and release the screwdriver. Simple (honest). It is a bit of a worry stretching the old bands but so far i've not had one snap.

I think loose legs on Fist Fighters is just one of those things that you have to put up with. It seems to be a pretty common problem.

I'm glad we got some answers!
I guess the leg repair would work on BC figures, too? I have a few BC figures with wobble legs also. I guess their legs are strung similar to a FF, since the BCs have the spear-chucking action in the arms.

Seems to be a common issue with figures that are connected by rubber bands at the hips only. Remco 9" monsters are made like that too and often have the same problem with loose legs.

Try the rubber band of a fat body. It is smaller than the normal band.

I have used a rubber band from Fonz, it worked nicely.
