Toys or Comics in Belize or Guatemala

Tomorrow, I am moving to Belize. I expect to be there for about 18 months.

While I am excited by warm weather, beaches, sailing, cave tubing, snorkeling, the amazing zoo, Mayan sites and other adventures, I of course maintain hope of discovering unknown treasures in the form of toys or comics.

Anyone have any leads on antique toys or comics in Belize or Guatemala?

I'm on the lookout for black and white comic strip reprint comic books of Phantom and the like for a collector friend. Anything else to keep an eye out for?

don't expect to many toys in that country bro, I have a lot of friends from Guatemala and those guys use to play with homemade stuff when they were kids or more into sports like soccer

I tried moving to Belize four years ago....Lasted one day. The blacks were very racist against me. My wife had the car door open and one guy on a bike came up and slammed it and took off. They said nasty things to us. THEN....You have to leave the country every month AND pay $32 dollars to leave.

Belize is definetely not for me!
