    Tiled Mirrored Happiness

Call these ugly if you will but for some reason I am completely comforted by the sight of these, they make me feel safe and happy. Must have had a good experience in a house with these, the memories of which are buried deep in my psyche.

OMG! We had a wall of tiled mirrors in our living room in NYC. They didn't have black etchings on them, they were just straight mirror squares put together on one wall, highlighted w/ little squares turned diamond side between the big mirror squares. This mirror wall was my best friend on rainy days or days where I had nothing else to do but act out my story records, sing and dance.

I see this and get the feeling Bruce Lee is going to pop out of this.

            Is that genuine velour carpeting?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Maybe I had a bad experience, but these make me very uncomfortable. I feel like something bad is about to happen in this place.

I do love the hanging lamp. The wrought iron with translucent orange is a 70's stable for me.

My parents went that rout for a while in the living room. Our dog really hated the other dog in the mirror mirror universe.

We didn't have mirrors in our house but in the foyer we had a wall of stained cork tiles.
                  It's all good!
