Got my Two Bucks and Two Tigermen yesterday, as always I am simply amazed at the attention to detail on everything that Zica offers!!!! I am not downing the other companys that produce in the 8 in. scale currently but man I really think Zica leads the way totally!!!! I really hope to see alot more come from Zica!!! Keep em' comin!!!!!
Thanks for the compliments everybody and I'm thrilled that you're happy with the figures. Sales are going very well so hopefully it won't be too much longer and production can start on Hawk, Killer Kane, and the Draconian guard.

I received my Buck and Tigerman yesterday....they ROCK. THe packageing looks amazing......I FREAKIN HATE THE TWIST TIES USED TO HOLD BUCK IN PLACE!!!!...Why do they need to be tied down, was Buck going to escape? I tried to pull Buck out by his belt, and broke the belt...what the?... then I flipped over the vacuum insert and he's freakin tied to the plastic insert. BOOOOOOOO!!
Otherwise I cant find anything else to whine about. THanks for the great figure Craig.

Sorry about the twist ties but with anything boxed like these figures it seems to be a necessary evil. I just think the factories take it to extremes a lot of times. Where did the belt break? It's fastened in the back with velcro so it's designed to come off.

When I saw I pulled the belt in half, I became disgusted with myself and closed the box up and put it on the shelf. After your post I went back and pulled him back out of the box, removed the (5) twist ties, and just as you said....he wasn't broke. The velcro simply came apart. Very nice design. Belt and both arm bands are velcroed. THanks for the heads up. I would have eventually gotten over my disgust with myself and opened him back up, but it would have been a couple a more days. lol I took pics of the steps required to remove him....will post tomorrow.

Be happy the time and expense was taken to secure a quality figure like this. I've looked into this for our stuff and I can only say thank God that we're doing "retro", wherein having the figure slumped over in the package like a superpowered drunk is part of the appeal.

Summed up nicely. After hearing that the Flash Gordon sales weren't that great I was concerned that Buck might suffer from poor sales. I'm delighted that this isn't the case.
Thx for the Cottswold tip! I need an extra Buck figure for the future Starfighter. As my dear departed mother used to say: "If someone goes to the trouble of producing a 1:9 scale Starfighter the least you can do is buy it".

It lets you preorder him--i ordered him last week, so I called them & some lady there said they don't have them in stock yet and she didn't know when they would be getting them.
I already have a set I bought from your site, but when I got them, they looked so cool I didn't want to take Buck out of the package, so thats why i ordered another Buck from these guys. I'm waiting till I get him to decide which one I'm gonna take out---the wait is killing me, cuz I really want to open him.

Is there any trick to get Tigerman to stand better? Maybe the boots aren't on quite right I can't tell.
Great figures, Especially Buck...

This is a problem that has been discussed before. Tiger Man's boot soles should have been made of hard plastic but due to a factory error they weren't. I told the factory several times to use hard plastic but for whatever reason it didn't happen. The softer plastic allows the soles to curve which makes it difficult for Tiger Man to stand.
You may also want to check the feet and be sure that they were completely inserted into the leg.

Are they going to fix that little problem at all?
Are they going to fix that little problem at all?
It won't be fixed on Tiger Man because his production run is finished. The boots for the Draconian guard, which are similar, should not have this problem.

Can I order a pair of the Draconian boots for Tigerman? Or else is there some pair of boots available from other custom pieces you would recommend?

The Draconian guard boots aren't available, plus the design is slightly different. As for custom pieces, I can' think of any that would work. Using heat and cold to reshape the boot soles was discussed in this thread (http://megomuseum.com/community/showthread.php?t=55679&page=6) and it seems to fix the problem.

After reading that thread, I just took his boots off and bent that bottom piece in the oppoisite direction from the curve a number of times then made sure the boots went back carefully. Left him alone and went out he is still standing fine. Thanks. So when do I get to buy the next Zica figure? Is it going to be Adam West?

Great! Glad to hear you were able to fix the problem. The next ZICA figure you'll be able to purchase will probably be one of the three remaining characters from series 1 of Buck Rogers. The Adam West figure is still in the prototype phase.

thats why I had to buy 2 Bucks!:wink_y:
Good grief they are amazing looking. Once I get paid at the end of the month I will have to order them.
I remember as a 10 year old being disapointed that my 12 inch Mego Buck Rogers lacked a helmet, gold wings and left armband with box (what was that for?).
I just hope we finally get Wilma in the same uniform.
As for Logan's Run, it is about time somebody did it after the Mego prototypes that were never sold.
I am old enough to remember both the movie and TV series.

Add me to the growing list of jaws on the floor amazed. I received my set today and I am just so pleased. It really is to the 8 inch scale what my Hot Toys Jor El and Superman is to the 1/6 line. They just totally raise the bar on what can be accomplished with costume, paint and packaging. I am "all in" on this line.

Received my Buck and Tiger man today. Fantastic figures, the hype is accurate! Easily the best 8" figures ever produced. Looking forward to the rest, and hopefully soon!
Well I got my figures this morning in work and finally got to open them at 6:30pm.
What can I say 7 day delivery from US to UK and the figures are the best looking 8 inch figures around.
I just hope there will be more. Bring on the rest.
