I have 3

One I keep for casual dress.
second for working
third for lawn work.

As the working ones get bad they drop down to lawn etc

My entire shoe arsenal is small...aside from two sneakers...I have one pair for casual fare...one pair of dress shoes (reserved for either a wedding or funeral)...and a couple of pairs of indoor loafers.

Oh, I also have a couple of pairs of baseball shoes (when I used to play league softball)...but I can't play anymore.

Two pairs of Vans (everyday use & old pair for yard work)
Two pairs of Puma Ligas (one pair were hand-me-downs from my bro-in-law)
Three pairs of Adidas (Berlins, Spezials, Gazelles)

Some of these shoes I've had for over 10 years.

Just one pair, for yardwork. I used to wear sneakers all the time, but my feet have gotten a bit crappy with old age, so these days I usually try to wear shoes that are more comfortable for me (eg. Rockports)

I think I have 16 prs., but maybe more. My back hurts right now so I don't want to bend down in the closet to count. I have sneakers of varying colors b/c I like to match the outfits that I wear. I don't really wear heels and dress shoes, so I love to get lots of colored sneakers, mostly Reebok track shoes, but there are some other name brands like Nike, Skechers and New Balance.

A friend of mine's son at one time owned 150 pairs of sneakers, some of them quite valuable and most of them new and never worn. His college room mate owned 60 and they had an entire room in their house with racks and racks of shoes.

I have 3 pair. A pair of black Chuck Taylors, a pair of lawn shoes, and my favorite pair that my wife bought me for Christmas below :cool_y:.

I have at least 12 pairs of sneakers - a mix of running, cross-train, casual, retro - and another 4 pairs of golf shoes. Add in my 4 pairs of dress shoes for work and I think I have waaaay too many shoes!

One pair. Chuck Taylor All-Stars (Navy colored).

I used to love Air Jordans, though...from 1985 through mid 90s when the repros from the 80s started to appear. :)

I have 2. One I wear regularly, one for yard work. When I get a new pair the regular ones become yard work ones and I toss the old yard work ones. Pretty simple.

My explanation is that the boots I have are "all purpose"...
very comfortable as well as durable..... granted I'm not a "sports guy"...
but even then I'd like to think my boots are good enough for
basic sports stuff.

1 pair rubber steel toe for work
1 pair rubber insulated steel toe for work
