ComiCONN 2011 - Action Figure Design Contest hosted by Pop Culture Central
Do you like building and creating? Do you customize your own action figures? Looking for a contest? Then enter with a chance to win at ComiCONN!

*All entrants please PM Jon Peck to confirm your entry into the contest and to list how many figures you will enter prior to attending ComiCONN. The proper space must be allotted for the contest.

Professional 5" x 7" royal walnut with brushed gold plate plaques will be awarded to 3 winners along with :

1st PRIZE – 12" Sideshow exclusive Dr.Rene Belloq figure. Limited to 1000 pieces. An idol chamber environment is also included.

2nd PRIZE –G.I. JOE Desert Ripcord and Arctic Duke Rise Of Cobra figures. Both figures were canceled by Hasbro and unreleased. Also included is a Star Wars Skirmish In The Senate Battle Pack. It includes Yoda, Emperor Palpatine, 2 Clone Shock Troopers and a senate pod.

(There will be numerous runner up prizes given out as well).

    RULES
    1. There is a $5 per figure entry fee and all entrants will receive Mego Museum and Plaid Stallions vintage toy trading as a thank you.

    2. Ages 10 and up may enter.

    3. No unclothed or [censored] based figures may be entered. ComiCONN suggests Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Military, Superhero, Cartoon, and Monster themed action figure entries.

    4. Space cannot exceed 12" by 12" per figure. There is no height limit, but please make sure your figure does not topple over. Customizers must provided their own base or stand to support their figure (if needed). If it is a diorama base, only the figure will be judged, not the base.

    5. ComiCONN is not responsible for damage or loss to the figure(s) on display. (note - someone will be by the table at all times to help prevent any issues. No one is allowed to touch the figures)

    6. All customizers will be given a receipt after they enter. Figure(s) will be given back to their proper owner once a receipt is redeemed.

    7. All winners must be present to win. The hours to enter your figures is 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on 8/27 at ComiCONN at the Pop Culture Central tables in the show lobby (check the floor map on display at the show). Voting stops at 5:00pm. The awards & prizes will be given out at 5:30 PM that day at the tables where the action figures will be on display.

Voting - There will be a number next to each figure entered. ComiCONN attendees will vote by writing the number of their favorite figure and placing it in a ballot box. Good luck to all those that enter!

    Thanks
    Jon
