So for some reason I decided I needed to start collecting the 9 inch Lone Ranger Figures. Just the basic stuff. The outfits, accessories and playsets for this line are great, but the bodies suck. They're half way between Mego and GI Joe but not as good as either one.

Anyway, any body ever glue one of the bodies? What kind of glue did you use? And how about restringing? How can you do that without cutting the damn body apart? They're a lot like the GI Joe Super Joe 8 inch figures of the last 70's in that the bodies have not held up and they're hard to fix.

on that plastic super glue work, and high grade(professional) model glue.
stringing body are hard but can be done.

Would love to collect that line. All the really great outfits were only in the UK . I think this line I would ONLY be able to afford as Authentic Reproductions.

i had lone ranger and silver when i was a kid and had wonderful adventures with them. i never really liked their bodies either. i still have them too!

And yep, you've got to cut the damn body apart. Long live Mego, that's all I can say about it.
