    rit dye color remover

I tried a search for rit dye... nothing came up?
has anyone used rit color remover with any success?
I'm looking to remove the blue from fc mr sinister's suit and then dye it green.
what I've read online seems to be that results are "spotty"
would I be better off just starting from scratch?
    thanks for any suggestions

    I don't think it'll work.

Why don't you just bleach it out?

I used it on a pair of mego verdon pants to make to cispa bill pants. It worked well but had to be done a few times to get all the color out. Best results was to use with hot water.

It's worth a try, but you might have to do it more than once. I think it's effectiveness depends on what the material is made of. Natural fibers work the best. Mego used a cotton/poly blend, right?
Edited to add, for some reason, I read "Mr Fantastic" and not "FC Mr Sinister." Their suits were a little shinier, and might have been more of a spandex. I'd be more worried about the dye not taking than the remover not working.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

I used Rite dye remover on a lone ranger outfit work great must be washed completely after use ,I use it sparingly , Like bleach it can eat through cotton.
It only work on cotton fabrics

              thanks everybody for the responses.
yeah, I think sinister's suit is some kind of blend. fabrics aren't really my specialty!
the reason I thought about doing it was I read an online site for fc customizing about someone doing the exact thing I was thinking of- turning an fc sinister into the sandman. the person said he used the rit to remove the blue and then dyed it green.
since I plan on making my sandman "transforming" I'll probably just wind up painting over the suit or making something from scratch.
the other possibility would be to find some big jim clothes to work with. then I'll wind up with a spare suit. two actually, because I also stripped my sabretooth... but more on that later
