I had the 70's Batman belt and kept the Shogun Pistol Clicker for years.
I like the Hulk belt cause it's silly.
I like the Shadow belt caiuse it's obscure ( and The Shadow ) I remeber in the late 1970s seeing airplanes and such as bagged toys with Shadow headers.
Wonder woman is great.
Never realized those bad Star Wars belts wer actually Kenner, were they USA issued?
As a fan of the Shadow, I guarantee you he did NOT need a ulility belt. And the Hulk woulda ripped that sucker off!!
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
I had the Star Wars belt... it was the only lightsabre I owned as a kid and did an admirable job of whomping my brothers without leaving marks (unlike the Spiderman web-shooter which got promptly confiscated).
Did they ever make any other kid-sized lightsabres back in the seventies/early eighties?
I must own that Gatchaman belt. I would wear it everywhere, including to bed and to client meetings.
Great list! I had the Remco Spider-Man belt, but balked at Batman's name on his belt-buckle. Toy Biz's 1989 utility belt is very movie accurate, with authentic looking Batgrapple gun and Batarang. But props has to go the Ideal original.
Not so much a utility belt, but HG toys made a KILLER He-Man set with Belt, guantlet, shield, and Power Sword back in the 80s. It was toy/toon accurate, and all kinds of awesome.
