What was your favorite?
I liked the creepy dorito guy sucking on the guys finger and the Pepsi max commercial where the wife decked the blond chick with the pepsi can. There were a lot of good ones this year....more good ones than bad ones for a change.

Liked the VW Darth Vader commercial! Pretty cute. Absolutely hated the Skechers/ Kardashian one.:bleh: She has a way too high opinion of herself when she has the face of Donkey from Shrek.

I liked the Vader one, and it was good to see the Career Builder monkeys again. None of them blew me away or seemed like classic material.

I liked the "NFL Fans" one with all of those TV characters wearing NFL gear

^ That one was great.
I always like the E-trade baby commercials, and this year's with the tailor was an instant classic. The cat one, not so much.
The dorito commercial was hilarious....but my favorite was the Vader commercial. That is captured all the wonder and amazement of childhood perfectly.

The Vader one was PRICELESS..!!!!!
At our Packer party, I mentioned I liked the Kardashian one, and got the meanest looks from all the ladies.
Hey, Kim may not have any talent, but she does know how to do a pictoral (with hours of air-brushing, I know..) :wink_y:
Oh, and here in Milwaukee..?? Yep, just like Orleans last year, LOTS of partying in the Streets..
Titletown has reclaimed the Lombardi..

I also liked the Vader commercial (even though I had already seen it and it was edited...no plate across the counter from mom). For some reason one of the first commercials from Bud Light made me laugh. It was the extreme home makeover and all they did was put a bucket of iced bud lights on the kitchen counter. The Dorito finger licking commercial was a bit creepy if you ask me.

I liked Grandpa back to life via Doritos, among others.

Kid Vader, though it would have been much funnier if Chad Gordy played the dad.

It seemed like Doritos dominated the commercials for the first half hour. I liked the one where the guy used Doritos to reincarnate the ashes he knocked over of that girl's grandfather. I also like the Doritos commercial with the guy baiting the dog to run into the glass door and gets trampled instead. Overall it seemed like the best commercials were done fairly early. I think all of the car commercials were overproduced. Way too many special effects without much brand recognition for the money spent. No wonder the auto industry needed a bail out. :please_y:
Movie trailers were varied. But none of them wowed me. In our genre of choice, Transformers looked cool. Pirates IV was fine. Thor was fairly ordinary. And Captain America was a collage of images that looked pretty cool, but left me still needing to see more. None disappointed, so I would say that was a good thing.

The little Vader kid was BY FAR the best commercial.

I actually think the Pepsi date commercial was the best. That got a roar of laughter out our party.
