I just heard someone on talk radio complain that just about all of the various album music the DJs played in the various scenes had been replaced by generic filler, since it would have been cost-prohibitive to pay for a lot of that big-name stuff. I know that happens a lot, but it'll no doubt be more noticeable in a show like KRP.

As God as my witness.. I thought turkeys could fly.

This is a must for me, just haven't had the chance to go out and get it yet.

I've toyed with the idea twice so far of buying it, had it in my hands and then put it back. I should pick it up eventually though... hopefully the music replacement isn't that noticeable or annoying.

Wow, they replaced the music the DJ's play ?

That totally changes the show..... because unlike a lot of other shows where this is done------ this show is based on the music.

For this reason alone, I will pass it by.

I know the loss of real album rock music impacts on enjoyment of this series but it's not like I have it memorized to the point where I can recall what music selections were used in every show.

For instance, I know in the case of The Greatest American Hero they had to get rid of many cover songs Joey Scarburough did, most notably Rocket Man and Eve of distruction in 2 specific episodes. Still I am happy they released the series so I can at least see the shows again.

Maybe i'm just overly nostalgic, but I consider screwing around and changing old shows-or movies, like screwing around with my memories.

I can't help but feel cheated.

I heard this was also done to Quantum to the Nth degree.

Unfortunately the rights for the music must've been too
expensive/complicated to come buy

On the other hand, at least Herb's clothes will remain the same as the original
stuff he was wearing
