    Photographing your MEGOS

    Here are some tips on photographing your MEGOS. Unfortunately they did not use a MEGO as the Model!

          Todays project - Building My MEGO Photography Studio





          I still need to cut the sides out and get 2 small lamps to help balance the light.

          Note to self: Don't set it up with a window behind me when the sun is shining in!
          Too many toys. Not enough space!

                Camera set on Macro Close up with no flash. Still have to find my desk top tripod.

                  Total investment so far $5.50 for the folding foam core background. (I tried using it without the box and was not happy. Lighting and Shadows too harsh)

                  Of course if I did not want to be cheap I can get this



                  on Amazon for around $50.00!
                  Too many toys. Not enough space!

                      Your best bet is shooting pics with just the lights in the box...basically the room is completely dark except for the light that is focused into the box. Hope that helps

                            yeah! thanks for posting that, one of my projects this weekend was to get some pics taken and get some stuff up in the market place, i couldn't borrow a camera, but it really helped out with the old iphone 3g camera

                              Here is a shot in the dark with only the light from the top!
