old activity books

There are a bunch of things I need in order to attain happiness. Among those are a set of activity books I barely remember from back in the day. Here's one of them:

Whitman The Fun Works NOODLERS Puzzle Book 1977 - eBay (item 140448183177 end time Jan-29-11 17:46:22 PST)

Anybody remember these? ANy info? Anybody know where to get them.... hopefully for less than this? After finding the proper name for them, I did track down an online place that had one for sale (one I REALLY want) but I haven't heard back yet.

I can't help Don, but thanks for the memory. There was an old stack of coloring books at my grandma's house when I was a kid and there were a couple of these in there.

I have a CREEPY Planet of the apes one. And a Waltons one.

The Ape one has a coloring picture of the hunting Gorillas. And the cover picture is from Conquest with Ceasar in chains on the auction block and teh female ape being beaten by cops.
BUT it has some pretty nifty games and such in it.
