I think everyone knows the little green plastic soldiers that came in plastic bags with a cardboard header, usually found in dime stores.
There was a spin-off of this around the time of Star Stars. Instead of green army soldiers, there was pink, white, black, lime green, and maybe blue, space characters heavily influenced by Star Wars. Anyone remember these?
There was an astronaut, a woman with Farrah Fawcett-hair standing next to a computer console, a little flat robot ("R2D2"), a guy looking a little like Vader- waving a laser sword, a classic Buck Rogers-type character, a bug-eyed alien with crab-like claws, and I think there might of been one more looking like a relative of Chewbacca's.
I had a whole bag of these that was mixed in with my army soldiers and cowboys and Indians.
I came across a guy on the internet selling ONE of these plastic space figurines for $75!!!
Anyone have/had these? Was there a name for them other than something generic? Was there any other characters in the space line? Maybe a play set?
All the ones I've had were lost to time...
