Probably one of the greatest comic artists of the Bronze Age of comics. This auction also shows that point...check out the price the auction has hit...and the auction isn't even over yet:

Without any doubt, Perez is my favorite all-time artist. I would love to own the original art to the Crisis cover where Supergirl dies or the Avengers cover with the Taskmaster reveal. His stuff is waaaaaay beyond my budget, but it's nice to look at. I am a Perez fanboy. I admit it. I've yet to see his equal.

My happiest memories of reading comics was in the early 80s with Marv Wolfman's and Perez's New Teen Titans. Great stories and great art. And of course I was madly in love with..

Always been a big fan of GP's art. One of my favourite comic book artists, in fact.

Perez is absolutely my favorite living comic artist. Absolutely one of (if not THE) all time favorites of mine. I've met the guy twice and he is a gracious, gregarious person. I cherish my Nightwing sketch I have. And the pic where he's practically got me in a bear-hug! I'll have to post it later.

Perez is amazing! I use to work with a friend of his who went with him to high school. he showed me his high school yearbook with Perez's art work that is all over the year book. He already then showed signs of being great........
Hmmmm....
One of the bestest things about his stuff is that he drew everybody different! Different builds, heights, faces.... Too many of the superhero guys just change the hair and outfits.

^ Yeah his blond-haired Captain America is different looking than his blond-haired Hawkeye for example...they are their own distinct personalities

Perez really came into that while on NTT. If you compare the early issues to later in his run you can see the evolution. Wonder Girl, Starfire and Raven all had the same faces and builds, just different hair. Same with Robin, Kid-Flash and Changeling.
By the time the Baxter series launched, each Titan had his own distinct face. Starfire had a very round soft face, and of course her prominent...eyes. Raven had sunken-in cheeks, and a really high forehead. Perez even worked it into the storyline of Raven slowly being possessed by Trigon.
As much as I love guys like Neal Adams and Jim Aparo, they always drew every hero with the exact same face. Not Perez.

Perez fans might want to note that there is a George Perez fanzine called the Pacesetter that is well worth checking out.

Oh.. My.. Gawd.. YES. His Marvel work was very nice rendered, but it's his Titans work that was AWESOME. His Kid Flash was always my favorite.
Loved how he drew the women.
For overall Titans love, he's on parr with Nick Cardy, but Perez's New Titans work was miles above any other artist. No one could compare.

THat has to be the single greatest piece of comic art I've ever seen. I don't know how I've not discovered that before. How does the human mind even organize and plot out something that massive? Every time I think he's left someone out, I end up fiding them in the background. If that's a poster that is still available, I may have to get it nad have it framed. IT's beyond words how much talent it takes to do that.
