from my observations I think the police have become a bit useless. Not to knock law enforcement personnel so much as the courts are so gummed up with legal BS that when someone is arrested they get slapped on the rest and sent to the house with nothing more than a fine and a mark on their "permenent record".
Personally I think a good old fashioned A S S whipping on some of these more common, low level criminals could possibly do a lot more for reforming and preventing future occurances. Think about it... when you got in trouble as kid / teenager what deterred you the most from goofing up; threats of punishment or actual punishment?
With that said I'm not just referring to violence nfrom our parents, I mean when they handed down a sentence that REALLY hurt, be it grounding, curfew's, exrra chores etc.
Still I think if this guy and his wanna be super pals can slap down a drug dealer or car thief, all the power to them. Somebody has to DO something and cops these days really can't do much thanks to the giant loopholes found in our legal system.
Sorry for the rant but I literally see this every week... court (http://tko8.com/court/index.htm)

In a showing of solidarity with Phoenix Jones, I think we should all adopt code names. I would go by Blaze Jenkins and my secret weapon would be retractable tenterhooks. My power would be the mutant ability to find any item in a grocery store within ten minutes, providing they indeed stock said item.

I read about him a couple of days ago. My first reaction: "He'll be dead in a week."
And he's getting there. First a broken nose, next a bullet
