Man, Seattle already gets RTN, is this gonna be another retro station we can't get? Oakland gets WGN, but there haven't been any announcements about this station.

Ok so is WGN changing to this station on Jan 1st? When I click on any link on that AntennaTV site I get sent to WGN America which we do have here on CH 4.

good Question since I dont have cable and I assume WGN is a cable channel? and not a free channel.I think Antenna tv is going to be a free sub channel of WGN but free unlike WGN

Well I'm pretty sure WGN is a local free Chicago channel that made it big like WTBS in Atlanta when cable exploded. It seems to be a staple of basic cable packages like TBS.
WOR from NY is another one but I don't think we get that out here.

Looks like it's a sub-station...in Chicago it's WGN 9.2 and in New York it's WPIX 11.4 for example...whatever that means. Seems like it's in the larger markets. The largest market I can find in all of NY state is the WPIX station....so if you don't live in the immediate area, you probably won't get it.

Yeah no Phoenix listing yet but being the 5th largest city in the US I expect we will get one this year.

Kind of odd for them to try this out of Chicago, when Chi-town already has two retro stations.

Our local was airing RTV and switched to this on Jan 1st...sadly...this one appears to be all comedies, mostly stuff that's already on TV Land at some point like All in THe Family, Good Times, and (UGH!) The Nanny. Three Stooges is on AMC a lot, and the Benny Hill stuff is good but not worth trading The Hulk & Emergency for Fran Dresher reruns.
I guess this was cheaper than RTV. Sucky!

We got OWN also...unfortunately. My wife won't stop watching it. Oprah is my least favorite 'famous' person of the past 25 years.
