New Animated Add is not fun

On Retro Tan and Cool Blue there's a newer animated add to the right of the screen on the main forums page.

It says Get Widget under it.

I'm on cable and it still freezes up my screen when I scroll.

I know I could switch to Son of RT or Mobile to get rid of the add but it's tough teaching this dog new tricks.

I tried switching but I can't get used to other layouts.

Can we possibly make that add non animated ?

I could live with that

I hate complaining but it's really annoying the way it is now.

So it's not just me that finds it very irritating?
I didn't want to be the one that complained first.
I wasn't aware it could be removed by switching skins? I might try that.

Me too, but this has been going on for a month now and I just couldn't take it anymore.

It's like mental torture seeing that thing in the corner of my eye constantly moving.

Mobile access skin seems to eliminate that but not sure if i'm losing anything else. there are NO ads though..at all.
