Best horror movie intro EVER! Even now, if I sit down and watch an old horror flick on tape or OnDemand, I'll play this intro first to get me in the mood. Takes me right back to when I was 5 years old, up way past my bedtime, Mom threatening to send me to bed, Dad letting me stay up, and the whole family in the living room watching Chiller Theatre. I can't for the life of me remember what movies were on, but I know that I always wanted to stay up and see that six fingered hand come out of that hole in the ground, snatch the letters and let out a gutteral "CHIILLLERRRR".

Years ago I thought that intro was the scariest thing ever ........
Today, I can't help but notice how much the CHILLER voice sounds like Homer Simpson:)

I miss those days!! I can still see myself with my brother & cousins getting together in Brooklyn watching Chiller Theatre, and the classic 4:30 movies! That creepy hand scared the crap out of me nomatter how many times i watched it as a little kid! While the adults were talking & enjoying their coffee we would watch scary movies all night! My Grandparents had the classic 1970's TV built into the wood frame! Ha

For me it was Creature Double feature (Channel 56 Boston). That program made me what I am today!

*BUMP* :grin: Just got done watching "Revenge Of The Creature" on tape, but had to watch the Chiller intro first. Ah...Saturday nights in the 70s.
