Okay, what's your favorite game to play at home on a console? This isn't a Top Five Desert Island list, but if you could only have one to play the rest of your life. What qualities helped you pick your choice?

I'd have to go with Champions of Norrath (http://championsofnorrath.station.sony.com/) for PS2. I must have played it for a year solid. I think the MMORPG-level of character customization appealed to me unlike any game I'd previously experienced.

Mmmm. For me it would be a toss up between the Ratchet and Clank series and the Assassin's creed series. Both have many interesting facets...I love how I never know what will come next on some of the weird planets in R&C.

"Batman: Arkham Asylum", "Fallout 3", "Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse", any of the LEGO titles...

But hands down my favorite is "LittleBigPlanet". Between the customized levels and Sackpeople, I also have fun playing with others around the world.

I'd have to agree about "Little Big Planet". Extremely fun to play, there a couple million (!) user-made levels that you can play on line, and it lets you create your own games (I kind of suck at that aspect, but my son has a blast making his own levels).

I'm also still enjoying the hell out of Rock Band and Beatles Rock Band too.

^ Awesome game, thanks for the memory! It used the 'Space Invaders' premise, only you could move more freely. This is a great one, but I prefer Phoenix or Demon Attack. I noticed when I was about 9 that 95% of the games released for the Atari 2600 followed one of only a FEW basic styles: the "things falling from the sky" games, the "maze" games, the "side-scrolling space" games, etc.. :smiley1: Good times.

Tough question. Resident Evil 4 is way up there, along with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Journey to Silius, and the Legend of Zelda. Man, way too many.. Alex Kid for Sega Master System!! :cool_y:

Take care -

I'd have a hard time picking between Saint's Row 2 and Mass Effect 2. Can't wait for the third installment of both.
