I thought it would be cool to come up with my own original OZ charater.
Since OZ is such a weird and wonderful place, I think it lends it's self to
a whole slew of wacky characters not yet discovered or invented!
Captain Jumblatt was once a high ranking officer in the royal guard
of The Emerald City. Captain Jumblatt was very brave and heroic, but he
also had some flaws. The good captain liked to drink and gamble, both of
which he sucked at!
One night in a drunken stupor, he engaged in a game of poker with a
winged monkey. The good captain lost all his money but still wanted a
chance to win it back. The only thing the captain had to bet were
some fine Italian leather shoes, a gift from the Wizard. Since the captain sucked at gambling he lost! Be it cause he was drunk or in shock, the captain passed out. When the captain awoke, not only his shoes were gone so were his feet. Since winged monkeys don't know how to untie shoes, it just chewed his feet off!
Enraged and somewhat embarrassed the good captain sought the help of the Wizard. Since the Wizard is basically a conman with a strange sense of humor, he replaced Captain Jumblatt's feet with suction-cups!
Now even more embarrassed, the good captain left the very public royal guard and became a master of black-ops. Working in the shadows the good captain undertakes clandestine missions and engages in, "wetworks, " for
the Wizard, Glinda, or who ever may need his services. All in the cause of
good, of course!

the body is a Mego T2, got it on Ebay, had no head or legs, so I don't
know who it was!
the Klingon head is from a parts lot I bought from George Ramsey
the pants and vest I made from felt, belt is gold string. shirt is CTVT
I put some plastic craft emeralds on the vest to represent the Emerald
City
suction cups are JJ Armes' hands!
tophat is from Laurie
machete is from Austin at Reproheads
short sword I made from plastic, spear is a Marx item, the hand crossbow
is a bow from the AD&D figure, Melf the Elf, its attached to a some gun I
got is a parts lot
all paint is acrylic

Thanks for looking;
Wayne

He'd fit in perfect in Oz.

Question: what's that in the background in the first pic? Is that the body of a car? Looks like a hotrod

Yup! It's a custom fiberglass 34 Ford. I just got the frame back from the shop and started putting suspension on it. Maybe one day when i get it finished I will post it on the boards!
