Here's something I came across that may be of interest to customizers and others skilled in toy craftsmanship. Certainly, I'd give an award to anyone who came up with the ways and instructions on how to repair the flop-torsoed Mattel retro figures -- although it's not exactly in line with "making an old toy new again," but rather "making a new toy new again."

I can re-build SuperJoes. It's not easy and does take some time. If they had better awards, I might enter the contest. Those tools sets are just fine, but cold hard cash is better.
