Fist Fighter rubber leg band part replacment

Hi MM

I have two FF bodies in great condition but the issue was that both of the figure's legs gave way due to rotting of the rubber band part that was placed between both leg hooks that hold it together to the body. How tiresome...

The factory should have known better that rubber bands does not last that long in many figures in years to come. that may explain why so many figure bodies have broken apart. I bet they did not know any better back then I suppose..

I need a replacement rubber band and would like to know who member on this site who is in the "rubber" deparment so I can make contacts or to help me out as it would be really so much appreciated too

Are the elastics the same as the ones used in a regular type-2 Mego ?

If so, just order some from Dr Mego

Don't the OMBC figures have the same style band(s) as the "Fist Fighters"?

Would a 3 3/4 gi joe rubber band work in place of a mego fist fighter band?

I asked a similar question a while back. My FF Robin's legs aren't broken, but that band is gonna pop any time now. I also wondered if a DM band would work.

You can restring with T1 type elastic. Just use 3 "go arounds".

Thanks :) Now I will make the journey on the golden brick road to see Dr Mego to give my FF some new rubber :)
