I found these while shopping the other day and forgot to post. I didn't have cash to buy them, but if they're still around on payday I might get a few.

I still need the Captain Crook to complete the set for my kids for Christmas. If anybody can pick me up one, I'll gladly pay for it plus shipping.

I have received a few pms asking me to pick up sets for members. The problem is, I had bills to pay and Christmas gifts to buy. I don't have the spare money on hand to go get them right now. I don't get paid for another week and a half, but if they still have them next time I head out there, I'll post then.

Obviously they had to get a license from McDonald's to make these so I can't believe they didn't get these into the restaurants. They would have sold millions...and went into more waves of figures. Then again maybe McD's has some sort of policy against that? Takes away from food sales $$?

The quality of these toys aren't any better than the quality of food ,but your right they should have had them for sale there.

I got these at a chain called "Tuesday Morning" ($4.99 each) a couple of months ago and my Mayor also has only "M" on his sashe and not "Mayor" as shown in the posted photo in this thread.

P.S. How do these reissues from Huckleberry Toys compare to the original McDonaldland figures, as far as quality, articulation, etc.? Thanks,

I looked for these at a couple of Tuesday Mornings in the area when they were spotted but had no luck. We don't have 5 and Below.

I bought all of these right when released. I should have waited because these are popping up everywhere extremely clearanced. However i am glad to have gotten the Grimace 1971 right after the SDCC in 07.

Bumping an old thread I know, but I found these at BARGAIN! SHOP here in Canada for around $6 today and figured that somebody must have metioned these at the MM. I only picked up Ronald and Mayor McCheese, but I would have bought the whole set.
Is Huckleberry Toys the only company that re-issued these? I thought I saw some carded ones from one of the more "mego-y" companys.
Does anybody have both these and the Remco originals? are they pretty similar?
And I could have swore that I saw whole sets of carded remco originals sell from a song a few years ago, has interest picked up? they seem to be selling much better these days.

Neat! How close to an 8" Mego are they; size and design-wise? If I can slap 'em on CTVT bodies I might have to snag a few. (Mayor McCheese would make a perfect arch-enemy for Inaction Jackson.)

Winners got a bunch of them a while back, I'm sure there must be some suburban/small town ones that have a few kicking around still with the red closeout sticker.
