Dumbest custom you've ever done or attempted...

Anyone else ever have a really great idea for a custom, that in THEORY, was brilliant, but didn't quite pan out that way in its execution?

I started a Kevin Sorbo Hercules in 1997 but the "Why?" factor kicked in after I finished the face. I just found it in a baggie this evening.

my first I think. I took a Star wars Prune face and a Bib Fortuna . With soem cloth and etc i made an Elephant Man. Don't know why.

It had a button for a hat and the tip of garden glove finger for a mask.

          And Prune faces cape. Ugh.

I tried to make 'The Tinkerer' a few years ago, some really obscure Spider-man villain from one of the first issues. Got a head sculpt done and started the pants until that "Why?" factor that Palitoy mentioned got me

I have an incomplete Tom Bosley/Father Dowling custom that seemed to be a neat idea. I think I have not finished it because I am ashamed of myself.

The Tinkerer is cool! He is in issue #1. You ought to finish the old coot. I have plans to make him someday myself.

Oh I like the Kull movie, just watched it recently. I just lost interest after realizing I'd never be happy with the hair do and frankly, I didn't really need an 8" Hercules.

I made an original figure one time that I called "Recon" it was a cross between Dead Shot and GI Joe, kind of a cyborg military thing . . . . it was less than over whelming
