Granny Goodness, Teri Hatcher, Helen Slater, Femme Fatales, DeSaad, the Fortress, Jor-El - what's not to love about this one. Although I'm getting sick of Kryptonite showing up in everything to prevent Clark from cutting loose.

If you read between the lines, it also revealed why the Jor-El in the Fortress has been such an arse over the years. The real Jor-El basically deleted his humanity from the program he sent with Clark.

Terri Hatcher's part really tugged at the heart strings. Well played by her and Durance, the two best Loises!!! Well, not counting Noel Neil of course. She stands alone.

Helen Slater is still beautiful for sure. I believe she has a regular gig on that TeenNick show Gigantic now, as the main character's mother. I've seen her in the commercials for it.

The Tess thing puzzled me. Weren't her and Lex an item before? Ewww!!!

I thought it was a good episode and finally set something up for Darkseid...was this the first time they actually referred to him as Darkseid and not just the darkness?
Hatcher was great and deinfately tugged at the heart strings

and at least they finally explained why Tess was chosen by Lex to be his successor....kind of brings her storyline full circle....I don't recall her being Lex's girl though....wasn't there some storyline where one of them saved the other's life?

I'm honestly foggy on Tess' backstory thus far. I remember her connection to Oliver and that's about it. When she first appeared, her hero-worship for Lex did seem to border on infatuation. Not sure if there was anything romantic or not. I hope not!!!

I didn't care for the Tess / Luthor connection but it's not the end of the world for me. I also miss Chloe in the Watchtower. Nice to hear Darksieds name.

Next week should be awesome with Aquaman returning (with his wife) along with a certain Slade Wison.

I could totally do without all the New Gods/Legends/Darkseid subplots but I'm still lovin' the show. What's bugging me is where have I seen that actress who played Granny Goodness before?
Rich

She was on the show before. She was the old lady knitting in the hospital when Tess was there.

That was supposed to be Granny, but I'm not sure that was the same actress. I don't think they hired this lady until Season 10 was under way.

Hmmmm....

After the last discussion on this anytime someone mentions Granny Goodness I can't help but think of Ed Asner....
