just something I stumbled across and thought was cool.

They are great!

My mom used to make similar dolls for my sisters - she painted the older (no metal parts) type of clothes pins and made little suits for them. (The type of laundry pins that had the split end like legs and the round ball on top..I dont see them around anymore..)

I also remember something called "corn husk dolls" -? Unless I am slipping into senility, I believe that they were made with actual dried corn silk from the cob..
