Is it just my imagination or are there a lot of Holy Grail items being listed on Ebay lately? I haven't been monitoring the Mego auctions but have been finding that some really rare items showing up on Ebay in other areas that I collect up for auction and was wondering if I'm not alone. I just grabbed a Buy it Now item this evening (non Mego and will share once it is in my hands) that I have been searching for years and it was 50% off what I would have paid for it. The item had a BIN or best offer and I decided to send a best offer hoping to get an even better deal but then thought "Why am I even leaving this to chance when the item is already priced to sell?" I am totally stoked and just curious if anyone else has noticed the same?

Started happening for me about 2 years ago on ebay...First it was a Let It Be Box Vinyl set that was only issued in Canada and the UK back when Let It Be was released, actually got 2 of them withing a 6 month period...and then it was a Butcher Sleeve that was in a lot of Beatles records...and from the pic it was clear that it was a paste over, so I couldn't have been the only one interested in the lot. The Butcher ended up costing about $20 after all was said and done with the lot. It's not a mint Butcher but it is a C6/7 Butcher. Lots of stuff is showing up that you wouldn't have seen years ago at decent prices...but it does swing the other way too...Been seeing a lot of stuff that just makes you shake your head, and not in a good way, when you see what the price is when it ends. Leaves you asking "Why would any collector in his right mind pay that kind of money for that??!!??"
