PLEASE send that our way here in Louisville. We've been in a drought for three months! Everyone is sick with sinus infections because the air is so unbelievably dry and filled with ragweed and pollen. Even a nice rain fall for a day would be a blessing.

It's supposed to hover around freezing in our neck of the woods tonight. If there's any precipitation we might get a bit of the white stuff too. Crap, too early for that! Oh well, it's better than the mid October freak snow storm we got four years ago.

Move to Seattle if you want Rain. :wink_y:

I am hoping it snows a lot while I am in Michigan. If it is going to be cold, it may as well be pretty...

We got snow here (south of where I am) just last week...it's supposed to be the beginning of Summer. Odd weather.

Where my wife is from they've already had their first snow storm, she said that they always bought their Halloween costumes two sizes larger so you could wear your snow suit underneath.

It's a cloudy, drizzly day in Oakland, not cold, but cooling off. Kinda nice, actually. My lawn needs water that I don't have to pay for! :smiley1:

I'm okay with the snow until Christmas, then I'm over it. Unfortunately it's usually here until March or April. However, as much as I hate the snow, it is really important to the local economy (skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing etc).

I was still wearing shorts and sandals until a few days ago, but I was in complete denial.

The MEC Jacket and long pants have been pulled out of their summer hiding spots and the sandals went away.
