Mego sized miliary weapons???

I have posted this in the market place, but since I'm getting into customs now, I wondering if there are any brands I can look for to kit bash other than AL. Is going to the dollar stores my best bet?

The Dollar General had some small-than-Mego sized-army action figures that came with a variety of mostly-exactly-Mego-sized weapons. As in... each figure had three or four very usable Mego-sized rifles included. About a month ago, they were selling them for a $1 a figure. It's a great deal if you can track them down.

I have bought up about 100 of these little figures, they come with about 3 weapons each that are mego sized so my superjoes are highly strapped

I'll have to look for these as well. It's hard to find (for me anyhow) many Mego-scaled accessories that I want.

On the flipside, where can one get dark age/ sci-fi weaponry in this scale? Things like Masters of the Universe and ThunderCats seem far too bulky and the Mego hands wont grip them well, and things like 3 3/4" scaled stuff is too small. :sarky:

If so, well, here would be tops on my personal list :

Maces, swords, staves, cloaks, leather belts and 'brass' wear, wooden and iron clubs, daggers, kitchenwares- pots, pans, chains, 'naturalistic' foods such as meats and vegetables, longboots, sheathes, warhammers, pikes, halbreds, laser pistols, predator-type gear, 'alien' technology stuff, etc etc! :smiley1:

Check the dollar stores, and different craft stores. I've found all sorts of stuff like this.... made of wood.
