    Anybody remember psychedelic balloons ?

    Just had a 70's flashback ......

These were advertized on TV in the 70's.

In the package you got a pinkish putty and straw.

You stick the straw in the putty and blow it into a balloon.

Some had weird psychedelic swirls in them

    Anybody else remember these ?

Wasn't it called super elastic bubble plastic or something like that? I remember the smell of the goo. It was like sniffing airplane glue

It was a Wham-O product, I believe. If I remember correctly, there was a real art to getting them to any decent size.

(((just watched the commercial, and itr is, quite obviously, a Wham-O product)))

Yeah, they make generic (1 color) versions of these today. I bought a few tubes some years back for my school.
