I was wondering if a release date has been scheduled and if it'll be as big as
the launch for the Spiderman 3 toys.
Anybody know?

I would doubt that they will be trumpeted in like Spidey 3 was.

I doubt they will make a big deal with these figures. I still can find tons of the first movie figures that are just collecting dust.......

If they're as crappy as the Spidey 3 ones I hope they don't even bother.

Due to Transformers being the big launch in June I bet FF4 figures wil get nomore than a End cap of display. Thats one problem with Hasbro owning the Marvel Lic. they can choose when to release product & how much they are not gonna want any thing to compete with House brands (TF,GI-Joe) Plus as much as I liked (&Hated ) the first ff movie I think that any box office strides it makes will be short lived due to Transformers release on the 4th of July I accualy think it may blow Spiderman's numbers out of the water (Although I think the movie looks like crap but we shall see).

If Toy Biz still held the license, we would have seen Spidey 3 and FF2 figures back in March.

I'm not sure about the Transformers movie. It could blow up and be huge, or be a big flop. It's according to how attached the general public was to the look of the original toon/toys. The fact that the movie-makers barely bothered to consider those designs hurts the film with the diehards and the masses, IMHO.

Transformers is definitely not a slam dunk is it? I realise that I'm not the key demographic for the film but I could see it bombing if they offend the fan base.

Oddly enough, the Transformers club set up at a local toy show here and I could not drag my son away from their table. He was captivated.
