Fun Look at the Clash of the Titans toys

CantinaDan over at AFI has put up a nice retrospective about the Mattel Clash of the Titans line. I loved these figures for about two months in 1980.

Fantastic article. I've always liked those figures. One of these days I'll start looking for them.

I still love those. The cards are awesome and Calibos is still one of my favorite figures of all time too bad they didn't make more characters

my treat was being able to purchase the Kraken back then. I used to have him fight the Shogun Godzilla and Rodan

They were cool figures. I had all the main characters as a kid, but not Pegasus or the Kraken.
I think I only ever saw the Kraken once in a toy store.

Never paid a bit of attention to them, but looking at them now they are very nice.

I am just sorry they didn't make the gods before the line ended.

                    Love this line.
Had them all and decided to give them away to charity when I got out of toys.
Good times. Glad I had the opportunity to collect and play with them. Hours and days of fun.
Love this movie version and watch once in a blue moon.

I also remember someone showed some catalogue shots for the next wave here?

Found this on ebay lately, never seen this card before
