We had the cardboard cutouts - pumpkin, witch, cat, haunted house, etc. I still have our originals from when I was a kid. Along with some blow-molded lighted items.

I found all of these this weekend at my Dad's house:

Vintage Halloween BEISTLE Wall Party Decorations - eBay (item 250704701954 end time Oct-07-10 17:51:38 PDT)

They were stored in his out-building. Unfortunately, most of them were moldy. I had to pitch the majority of what I found. The witch, skeleton and cat survived.

This scream Halloween to me. They were up EVERYWHERE around here during my childhood.

I also found an old blow-molded light-up ghost made by Empire. He's holding a skull and is about 10-12" high.

The nice thing about the Beistle decorations is that many of them were reissued year after year, so it's still possible to find nice examples for cheap. Wal-Mart had some packs of these decorations just a few years ago, and I grabbed a couple of packs on clearance after Halloween. They included the same witch, skeleton, black cat, flaming skull, and jack o'lantern pictured above, plus a few more designs.

Damn skippy I love the old blow molded decorations... I hate these new inflatable things... They suck if you live somewhere if you have a climate the promotes mud. Once they deflate during the day and get dirty they never come clean...

I LOVE these! My wife laughs at how excited I get to put these and their Christmas counterparts up. Its just another way of trying to bring back elements of my childhood. And lets face it, who loves holidays more than kids!

Plus, I have 4 of these up and about-

AND I have 3 of these things which I can never properly describe-

There is a website that sells the new reporduction ones pretty cheap. I've ordered from them and have been pretty happy with the results.

It was either this forum or the genenral forum, but I made a topic about your bottom pic asking the same thing (neighbor has some of these still hanging in his garage). They were id'ed as being called "popcorn art"

My Uncle and Aunt still have their vintage light-up Jack-O-Lantern guy you posted Bill. They also have another one with a witch-like face. It's kind of creepy, in a good, ol' fashion Halloween way.

There's a pack of repro Beistle cutouts available at Target's website:
                              http://www.target.com/Halloween-Bull...ef=huc_ic_1_pn
This looks like the same set that Wal-Mart carried for $2.84 a few years ago.
