Why bother if they aren't going to include Stretch Monster? I always thought he was the star of the Hasbro toyline.

What sort of nemesis is he going after in this movie if its not the green Stretch Monster?

Stretch lives in a very grounded, real world. Our inspiration is as much The Dark Knight as it is the Bourne movies. His nemesis is a rogue element. Not to get to into it, but they are rogue soldiers. Those are his nemesis.

In other news, Liam Neeson has joined the cast of the Battleship film adaptation of the classic game, and will apparently be fighting aliens.

I don't really remember aliens from playing the game as a kid. Why even call this film Battleship and option the classic game?

Hollywood doesn't have a freakin' clue.

It's the corporate controlled money that bankrolls and decides all details of these films (down to minutia). There's lots of talent in Hollywood, unfortunately the studios don't utilize it and have decided that formulaic garbage is easier and cheaper to produce rather than doing things correctly (and doing things correctly would actually spur more interest in films, create a broader market and a solid base for the future of the industry. But the corporate powers that be - who have no clue about what's good artistically- only think of short term profit rather than long term success and nurturing creativity).
