Deadpool WIP outfit

No pics yet, nothing to really show. I am trying to figure the best way to add the black to the Deadpool outfit. I have a full red bodysuit on a CAW body, and cool casted head, but I want the best black details as well. I thought about sewing the black material right on top of the red suit but I don't know how to finish the edges at the outline. Then I thought of a thick rubber type material that I could paint on the outfit. Need a little help. What do you people think?

I've recently been playing around with using fabric paint and getting nice results by cutting masking tape and using it as a stencil on the fabric. You peel off the masking tape after you paint over it and it gives you a nice crisp edge.

That sounds perfect. Is there a brand you use that is giving you the good results?
