How do you add a frickin' picture on here???

How do I add a pic to my posts???
I keep trying and it shows the tags & url codes.

Just go to the picture and click on it.


Right click on the picture and hit Properties

Scoop up the entire URL address

Past it in your post between ... [-img] [-/img]

Leave out the - dashes from above

I copy the URL and then click on the http://megomuseum.com/community/images/editor/insertimage.gif right above the window I'm writing in, and paste it in.

I'm lazy like that.

Also make sure it's a deep-link you're posting (I.E. the URL link you're copying and pasting is the one that ends in the image file name like .jpg, .tiff, etc).
Lots of sites (majhost for instance, which I use) have an intermediary page that's just a gobbledygook URL which points your browser to the actual photo URL, which then you have to click through again to get the proper image URL.
I have no idea why.
Right-clicking on the image and selecting "view image" will usually take you to the proper URL as well.

Click "preview post" to make sure the tags are working, as the editing/posting text entry box will only show the html instead of any images while you're editing, naturally.

I find it easier to just upload whatever pic I have to The User Gallery and go from there.
