    Old arcade games at Funspot

Went to a place called Funspot in New Hampshire on vacation last week, and was really taken back seeing all the old arcade machines. They have over 250 arcade machines from before 1987! I'd been there many times as a kid, but now it's like stepping back in time to walk in and see all those old games that I didn't even remember until seeing them again. Really cool place to check out if you're in that area, and good for the little kids too with mini golf, bowling and little bumper cars.

Funspot is definitely a place I want to visit soon. I first saw it in "The King of Kong" and was blown away by how cool it looks. Gotta get there soon...

The best part is all the games are so old that most only take one token to play, ten bucks could keep you busy for a while there.

I haven't been there but there is a place about an hour from where I work that mostly sells/restores machines but every Friday night from 6-10 is "Flashback Fridays". It's a small place but they've got about 60 games available.
You pay $10 to get in and all the machines are on free play. So while I haven't been to Funspot yet I definitely got that feeling seeing those classic games in their original form once again.

Theres a place not far from my old neighbor hood that used to be a comic shop. Last time I went by it was a video game/pinball / pool table etc sales and restoration place.
They had an AWESOME DR WHO pinball game with teh first 7 doctors. It was within my budget but keeping those things going is crazy and where would I put it?
Some of those old games ( like xybots) you need to play the original with the unique controls.

I miss Heavy Barrel. Ever play it?

the two places in Miami like that went down a while back, one was called the Pirates(it was like a vintage pirate fort, like the Disney ride) and the other was Malibu grand prix kind of like the one you see in Karate kid 1...it was an old castle with mini golf, all sorts of arcade games and racing go carts, but i mean the pro one that you needed a license to be able to drive , that went down about 10 years ago...they made it into a rave the last year at night
