There is a manufacturer somewhere with a bunch of purple #4 shirts that just breathed a sigh of relief today ;)

Ditto, I needed Brett so Sidney Rice can score some points for me.

Well I glad he didn't leave yet he's one of the good guys, not to many of them left. Man I can't wait for live football to happen, the cowboys training camp where a start here in town.

So I get to celebrate Favre's return one week and lament Sidney Rice's surgery the next. Rice is out for at least the first half of the season and possibly more and probably won't be effective even when he returns. I had a so-so FF team so as it was and now I lose a receiver of that caliber.
Who's idea was it to draft our FF teams so early anyway...!

Glad to see that someone my age can still play football at the professional level and isn't just some schlub QB either. The guy still has it.

Had that happened last year, with all of the drama surrounding the whole, "Will He or Won't He" question...I would have roared with laughter.
This year's drama was weird, but nowhere near to last year's spectacle. That bunk was maddening and I don't appreciate the fact that all parties involved tried to make this year a repeat.
Last year, this time, I resented Favre for the drama. He knew what he wrought given his cashing in on it in those Sears commercials.
However, as the season progressed, I forgave him of all of that and even became VERY enthusiastic of what he brought to the table for the Vikings. When it was said and done...I was pulling for them and loving every minute of every game I watched.
Now, I have last season to look at and be excited at the prospects of this season and I STILL have to watch a similar drama unfold????
This why I don't watch Soap Operas and this is why I gave up on Pro Wrestling years ago. I don't need a story line...I just want to watch Football. The drama is there...no need to engineer it.
