I just checked myself, and I haven't posted since May 13th!
Wow!

All sorts of reasons, really.
We had a killer move to a new house. Seemed like it was going to take forever. My wife and I worked ourselves to the bone, trying to get all our stuff out safely. The landlord had been neglecting the house for years, but upon leaving, suddenly he insisted on a "house in perfect condition", "just as he had rented out to us". We fought hard to get our deposit back.
In the section "it nevers rains but it pours", part of my collection got destroyed, and the insurance company refused to cooperate. It really ruined my taste for collecting, and I'm thinking of selling off the rest (which survived intact), in the year to come.
On top of that, a close relative and a friend were diagnosed with terminal pancreatic and spinal cancer.
Yeah, it's been a great few months.

For the couple of times I managed to log on, it seemed like I always picked the time when things got a little "aggressive" on the Mego forum, people butting heads, and I really don't need that right now. So I went "dark" for about three months.

To finish it off, Thomas is refusing to name his firstborn after me. Jeez, will it never stop?:silly:
