The following is a vent / rant. If you don't want to read it, you don't have to.
I've only had two bad ebay experiences.
The first one was when my wife was looking for an iPod for my birthday. She made the bid, won the item and then we waited. And waited and waited and waited. Finally we researched the seller and it looked like the seller might have had only five iPods that s/he were selling twice. The first five buyers got their iPods, but the second five didn't. And then the seller disappeared off ebay. Paypal refunded our money. But we both learned to read the the feedback on every seller for every item we were looking at on ebay. That was last month.
The second bad experience was just this last week. My wife was looking for a flatscreen monitor to go with the stereo dock for her iPod. The stereo dock she found on ebay plays DVDs, and she was looking for a flatscreen monitor. So she typed in the search. A number of items came back including Flatscreen Wholesale Lists. I am not familiar with this. Why anyone would want to either buy or sell a Wholesale list is beyond me.
So, now we have learned to read every description closely and skeptically.
The first experience was annoying for obvious reasons. But since the seller was in the wind, there was nothing that could be done.
The second seller, andreac5160, seems to have nothing more than wholesale lists on ebay. Once again, why I do not know. After posting negative feedback on the seller I got an e-mail from e-bay listing negative feedback from the seller. I didn't know that sellers could do that, post feedback on buyers. The request was to mutually withdraw the bad feedback for a refund. Grimacing, I did.
Maybe you're more ebay savvy than I am. Maybe I am dumb about some things on ebay. I just thought I would share my experiences to vent, express myself and maybe warn you against a lame sale.
