So my friend sends me this link and not sure if it's being passed around or what.
Says an earthquake is slated for today or sometime this week in SF, CA.

Anyone else get this?

A lot of hog wash to me.

Earthquake Prediction California, San Francisco, Los Angeles, recent, earthquake, San Diego, Eureka, Sacramento and Alaska. (http://www.quakeprediction.com/)

Well there is no strong evidence so far on that site. Sounds like another looney on the loose.

But just in case(HA!)stay safe, Hector and everyone else in the bay area.

Northern California...the best year round weather in the USA...just look at today...in the 100s all over the country...except Northern California (70 degrees and no humidity)...and it's almost basically the same in the Winter...lol.

No hurricanes, no tornadoes, no tsunamis, no floods, etc.

We do get wild fires though...but mostly in the boonies.

However...the one huge minus we do have are bloody earthquakes...and that's probably the worst of them all...lol.

Damn...we can't all be perfect...

Well...our house is earthquake retrofitted....and my Superman cabinet also has earthquake straps secured to the wall...bring it on...

Maybe this "looney" will become famous with this prediction.
Only Time will tell...............

Looks like he's predicting A LOT of different days. It's a trick tons of people who claim to have predictive powers or abilities do. Pick a lot of stuff - ignore the missed predictions and claim victory for the hits.

This article seems pretty rational about Luke Thomas' abilities:

"A broken clock is right twice a day..."

Earthquake prediction from Luke Thomas is a scam, weather vs. quakes (http://www.examiner.com/x-33051-LA-Weather-Examiner~y2010m4d14-Earthquake-prediction-from-Luke-Thomas-is-a-scam-weather-vs-quakes)

Thanks for the investigative homework. Guy seems rather crackers to me and only took it as a grain of salt.

I hate earthquakes. Where I grew up we never had them. Here in California, we've had a few every year since I've lived here. Not huge ones, but scary enough for me. I have to run to the bookshelf and protect the Bride and Groom topper from our wedding cake from falling and smashing into pieces. My head says "Protect the HDTV!" but then my heart says, "Protect the cake topper!"

Earthquakes suck.

I like telling people this:

"9 out of 10 doctors agree that life is the number one cause of death"

I'm not sure if it's from a movie or from my warped brain or both, but I've been saying it since at least the mid-90's . . . :hats19:
