I was looking at another thread and it made me think back to the days when I received my Driver's license. The courses were offered at our High School so it wasn't anything you had to pay extra for but I remember we were forced to watch movies of real people who had been captured on film dead from auto accidents....stuff that is so horrific I can still remember the images in my head. I also remember one day, some students at school involved with SADD (Students against drunk driving) staged a phony car accident right in front of the school. There was a wrecked car...ambulances, firetrucks, someone pretending to be dead and bloody in the car. We were pulled into an assembly room and explained that it was staged and then a big lecture about drinking and driving. Did anyone else see the movies I'm talking about or see one of those phony staged accidents when they were in High School? I could never imagine that happening to my kids. I would think people would be lined up with lawsuits.
