    Tightening joints?

Is there any way to tighten up the knees and elbows of a Zira figure?

I have one that's pretty floppy... ?(She won't stand up!)

I've used glue to tighten knee joints, but I wasn't completely satisfied with the results.

I've had broken elbows but I've never had loose ones.

So, you just glued them in place huh?

You add superglue to the joint and keep moving it until the glue drys...

        I've had mixed results...

In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

So, the hardened glue make sort of like a "washer"? The leg's still bendable?

Yeah, that's the idea. I've had it work, but usually, I'll just shop for a cheap naked figure to steal the body from and replace it. Heck, it's worth the $10, or a trade for something I have that I'm not using, if I don't have to sit there wiggling the knee back and forth waiting for glue to dry on the off chance it might work.

I got started buying extra Dinah-mites so that I could use their bodies to fix up loose Super Gals. Now I buy naked Super Gals to fix up Dinah-mites.

Dorothy's, Glinda's and the Walton Women make great body donors,
and Dorothy's especially, are plentiful and cheap.

I've had pretty good luck using superglue in the joints. Sometimes I have to apply the glue a couple of times. I think it works best for knee joints.
